What people are saying about us:

"BRAKE SAFE takes the guesswork out of brake adjustment...because the three indicator pins are brightly coloured, they are easily visible just by looking underneath the power unit or trailer...the whole process takes just a few minutes, meaning substantial cost saving in both time and money, especially with heavy fines for out-of-adjustment brakes."
Dale Holman
President of Truck Watch Service Inc.

A leading truck inspection services company.

"Brake stroke indicators are the most reliable method to date to ensure proper brake adjustment and avoid roadside detention.  This product makes the inspection job easier and quicker for drivers, maintenance staff and safety inspectors.  In my opinion, installing brake stroke indicators demonstrates a genuine commitment to road safety."

  • Safety Benefits

Brake Inspector® will provide a driver or maintenance staff an accurate indication of brake stroke travel and emergency spring brake effectiveness before the truck or bus takes to the road. While on the road the driver is provided a real time indication of brake stroke travel as well as how specific components of the foundation brake system is operating, every time the brakes are applied. Faults in the foundation brake system that may develop are identified in real time to the driver. The last brake application is stored in memory and can be recalled at any time by the push of a button.

Brake Inspector® will also detect brake fade as it is happening. The unique diagnostic abilities of Brake Inspector® make it possible to balance all brake chambers each time the brakes need to be adjusted providing uniform brake performance in normal and emergency stopping situations. Balanced braking will reduce the potential for loss of control, jack-knife situations and will extend tire life. (See Benefits of Brake Inspector® for more detailed information) .
